Job Duties:

• Carrying out routine and scheduled electrical maintenance work and responding to electrical equipment faults, in order to ensure optimal productivity.
• Analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults, and supervise time critical equipment repairs.
• Maintaining all necessary electrical maintenance records.
• Minimize machine downtime.
• Design electrical maintenance strategies, Procedures and methods.
• Supervising electrical staff by leading and motivating and offering technical expertise.
• Managing and maintaining spare parts.
• Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs according to the budget.
• Schedule and implementation of preventive maintenance programs of all electrical equipment and components.

Requirements

• Male
• Age below 30
• Bsc. Engineering (Electrical) or NDT (Electrical) with over 02 years of hands on experience working as in a similar capacity.
• Experience in a Pneumatic /Solid tyre or Compound manufacturing plant with a sound knowledge in operational and maintenance aspects of machinery used in compound manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge and working experience in maintaining the electrical and electronic parts of machines and related equipment’s
• Strong trouble shooting skills
• Management /programming/trouble shooting of PLC and control systems
• Knowledge and working experience in handling AC and DC drives, motors etc.
• Experience in maintaining Generators, Transformers and UPS.
• Knowledge in industrial automation
• Should possess sound communication skills.
• Ability of managing a team
