Job Duties:

• Oversee the maintenance and smooth operation of all mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment within the manufacturing plant.
• Plan, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Supervise a team of technicians and ensure adherence to safety and maintenance standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and recommend cost-effective technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers for timely procurement.
• Prepare and present maintenance reports and performance analysis to senior management.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive process improvements and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Male
• Age below 45
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Peradeniya or University of Moratuwa.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance or engineering management within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical knowledge in mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience in working with multinational or large-scale manufacturing setups is an added advantage.
