Job Duties 

• Manage day to day operations of the farm including infrastructure development , irrigation , farm maintenance , safety and cleanliness
• Developing out grower models from our nucleus farms would be highly desirable
• Produce Vegetables, Herbs, Spices and Fruits
  
• Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understands expectations
• Visiting the different divisions to inspect crops, livestock, and also perform tests on soil and water
• Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked
• Able to supervise the labour force and maintain productivity 
• Maintain reports and records 
• Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members
• Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Male 
• Age below 40
• PhD or a Master’s with Research in Agriculture specializing in Production Horticulture and post-harvest technologies
• 3-5 years experience with Polytunnels and Hydroponic systems
• The ability to manage and administer a labour force of 25
