Lead and manage the company's
overall finance and accounting operations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and
annual financial statements and management reports.
Develop and monitor budgets,
forecasts, and cash flow to support business growth.
Ensure timely statutory
compliance, including VAT, Corporate Tax, and other regulatory filings.
Oversee accounts payable,
accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Manage project costing,
profitability analysis, and financial performance of real estate
developments.
Coordinate with banks, auditors,
tax consultants, and other financial institutions.
Monitor cash flow, financing
requirements, and investment activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting
standards, internal controls, and company policies.
Provide financial insights and
strategic recommendations to senior management for business decision-making.
Lead, mentor, and develop the
finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve
financial processes, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance,
Accounting, or a related field.
Fully Qualified CA
Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or CMA5–8 years of progressive experience in
finance and accounting, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
Prior experience in the Real
Estate, Property Development, or Construction industry is highly
preferred.
Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan
Accounting Standards (SLFRS/LKAS), taxation, and financial reporting.
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting,
cash flow management, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in ERP systems and
Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, leadership,
and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and
stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure,
meet deadlines, and maintain high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
