Job Duties

• Manage the overall financial operations of the company and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor financial performance, cash flow, working capital, and expenditure.
• Conduct budgetary control and variance analysis, providing recommendations to management.
• Monitor plantation, estate, factory, production, labour, and operational costs to improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly and year-end financial closing processes.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
• Review financial processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support business and operational decisions.
• Supervise, guide, and develop the finance team.
• Work closely with estate, factory, procurement, HR, and senior management teams on financial matters.
• Prepare financial presentations, reports, and analysis for senior management.

Requirements

• Male Candidates
• Age below 50
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fully or partly qualified in CA Sri Lanka / CIMA / ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting, with experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in the plantation, agriculture, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment will be a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, budgeting, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Experience in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage finance operations in a field-based plantation environment.
• Willingness to be based in Badulla.
