Job Duties 

• Lead the Group’s overall financial strategy, financial planning, and performance reporting across diversified businesses in Colombo 10
• Oversee group consolidation, financial management, and reporting of subsidiaries and associate companies
• Ensure full compliance with SLFRS / IFRS, statutory requirements, taxation, regulatory and corporate reporting standards
• Lead financial evaluation, due diligence, and structuring for investments, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and divestment initiatives
• Monitor and optimize capital allocation, shareholder value, return on investment (ROI), and financial risk exposure
• Drive group-wide budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury operations
• Strengthen internal controls, corporate governance frameworks, and enterprise risk management (ERM)
• Provide strategic finance leadership to the Board, CEO, and senior management through financial insights and analytics
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams across the Group
• Oversee ERP systems, financial reporting systems, and data analytics tools to improve decision-making and financial visibility

Requirements

• Male/ Female
• Age below 45 years
• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant – CA Sri Lanka or equivalent (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management from a recognized university
• MBA / MSc or postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
• 10–12 years of progressive finance experience, including exposure to diversified business groups
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior finance leadership role (Group Finance Manager / Head of Finance / CFO level)
• Proven experience at a Big 4 Audit Firm is an essential prerequisite
• Strong expertise in group consolidations, corporate finance, M&A transactions, and investment appraisal
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and data analytics for business insights will be an advantage
