Job Duties:

• Prepare weekly production plans for all qualities upon receipt of inquiries or confirmed orders (Order Verification Forms) from Merchandising, considering raw material availability, machine capacity, and production timelines at the Avissawella EPZ manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate closely with Merchandisers to confirm feasible delivery dates and block required machine capacity to meet customer requirements and production schedules.
• Liaise daily with Technical Executives to communicate production requirements and ensure timely completion of manufacturing processes in the textile / narrow fabric manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate with Dyeing and Finishing Executives based on agreed priorities to ensure all scheduled batches are completed on due dates, maximizing machine utilization and on-time delivery performance.
• Monitor production flow to optimize productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction within the Avissawella industrial zone operations.
• Support waste reduction initiatives, recycling of general waste (paper, elastic), and compliance with environmental, legal, and sustainability standards practiced in export-oriented factories.
• Ensure strict adherence to health & safety, 5S, and factory compliance standards to maintain a safe and organized working environment.
• Carry out additional production planning, coordination, and operational duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Male/ Female
• Age below 40 years 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or Engineering (Manufacturing / Industrial background preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, or textile industry roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of Narrow Fabric Manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced EPZ / industrial manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to accommodate last-minute customer or production changes.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, production data analysis).
