Job Duties 

• Manage monitoring, measurement, and review of internal quality control processes to ensure product quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Lead and execute quality improvement projects and process optimization initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
• Perform data monitoring, recording, statistical analysis, and presentation of quality performance reports.
• Independently handle Six Sigma projects to improve operational efficiency and reduce defects.
• Conduct internal training programs as per schedule on Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance standards.
• Maintain and continuously improve the QMS in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Independently manage customer audits and third-party audits, ensuring full compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements.
• Support environmental and occupational health & safety compliance aligned with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.

Requirements 

• Male  
• Age below 40
• GCE A/L (Maths Scheme) or BSc in Science (any discipline).
• 3–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Strong IT skills including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Minitab for statistical analysis and reporting.
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 Quality Standards.
• Previous exposure to glove manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong data recording, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Hands-on experience in Six Sigma methodology, process improvement, and quality audits.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle extended working hours when required.
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving capability.
• Based in Biyagama, accessible from Kelaniya, Kadawatha, Kiribathgoda, Wattala, and nearby industrial zones.
