To be aware of all products going through our factories and be up to date on sealing stages & production planning.
To have expertknowledge & understanding ofCustomer Quality & Packaging Manuals and be aware ofrequirements/standardsfor eachcustomer.
Liaise with all factory teams to help ensure instructions and procedures are followed. Good communication to and from the UK throughout the process
.Base yourself at the factories from week to week/day to day and ensure you are at the right location according to sealing stage/production activity.
Maintain a shared outlook calendar to ensure UK team are informed of your schedule.
Send status update to UK office every Friday in line with customer deadlines so that agenda is visible to the team.
To join factory update meetings with UK when needed via conference call, Skype or whatever relevant media is appropriate at the time.
To supervise the making of Black Seal samples (size set made in sample room). To inspect and record information regarding garment quality and achieved measurements before sending to UK.
Conduct a risk assessment during Black Seal stage for production feasibility and report back to the UK.
Understanding grading formulas,construction and sewing techniques for bulk production. Suggestions for areas of improvement where necessary.
To hold Pre-Productionmeetings with Supervisors/Line Managers/Sample Room Team to report back to UK any areas of concern.
To spot check Bulk fabrics, componentry and cut work before production commences.
Tocarry outin-line inspection at the start, middle and end of production and send reports to UK .
