Job Duties

• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, and transfers efficiently.
• Handle cheque transactions, bill payments, and foreign currency exchanges.
• Assist customers with account inquiries and banking services.
• Ensure accuracy in transactions and maintain proper documentation.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies at the end of the day.
• Identify and report any suspicious or fraudulent activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Promote bank products and services to customers.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.

Requirements

• Female/ Male
• Age below 30
• GCE A/L qualification or a Diploma/Degree in Banking, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 6 Months experience as a teller or cashier in a bank/financial institution is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle transactions efficiently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and banking software.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and Sinhala/Tamil is preferred.
